Would you pay a woman's parents to marry her?

due to polygamy and extreme shortages of young women in saudi arabia.... the Mahr (dowry) is now ridiculous.... something like $50,000 plus house, car, nanny, maid, cook and full jewellery and wedding expenses. only an older man (over 40+) can afford this which is why you see young girls married off to older men. the young men are left very unhappy and forced to illegally marry foreign nationals (iraqi, afghan, pakistani girls).
