Does british equal to white anymore ?!?!?

I'm aware of the non-whites living in Britain, but they usually go under the names "black" or "asian" british.Where as british equates to white.OKay, i'm a bit pissed off at what happened when i visited my mother land England last month.Okay i visited some of my relatives in the city of coventry....i'm american btw.So, while at coventry, i met this half caste (biracial: half black; half irish).I have no problem with mutts, but this particular one pissed me off.It turns out that she was prejudiced against Americans.Hmmm....We started a conversation about Britain and the elections etc...Then she started talking about immigrants from Poland and other eastern european countries.I found her tone rather demeaning, so i pointed that out.That was a huge mistake! She started saying that i was yankee pig and that i didn't deserve to breathe Britain's air.She then went on to say that Americans use to wipe the backsides of British people.i found this offensive and a bit hypocritical because both her parents are immigrants and she doesn't look anything like a white anglo saxon.Hmm... that experience opened my eyes.The last thing she said was that Britain ruled america etc....Hmmm.. the stupid thing is that her ancestors did nothing to help England and that she is simply mooching off all what Britain has accomplished.That's what really pissed me off.Her ancestors did nothing yet she went on and on about how The British made America what it is.
