Im writing a paper on poverty in ireland in the 1930s and i'm having no luck finding any info. help me out? :)

We just finished reading Angela's Ashes in one of my cles and we have to write a paper based on the book. I'm thinking about writing my paper on the poverty conditions in Ireland during the 1930s vs. the poverty conditions in the US during the Great Depression. But I'm not having much luck finding information on poverty in Ireland in the 1930s. If anyone could help me out with where to find information, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! :)
