The process to go from enlisted to officer?

What i really want to to have the enlisted experience as 11b infantry, and then after "x" amount of years become an officer. What would the process be like to become that? I understand theres OCS and the green to gold program, will the army let me go to college, without getting deployed? Thanks for the information!
