Will this news make the pro- palestinians happy?

Why is Israel and its supporters so scared of a separate Palestinian state.? They state they want peace and yet are hell bent on suppressing the Palestinians even more. One day Israel will wake up and realise that they can't ride roughshod and illegally occupy Palestinian lands for ever . or perhaps they want another century of violence.
